🔑 Key Responsibilities

1. Order Picking (The "Picker" Role)

• Locating Items: Scan the store shelves using a handheld smartphone device or scanner to find the items requested by a customer.
• Accuracy Checks: Verify that the correct item name, brand, weight, and quantity match the digital order exactly.
• Speed Management: Retrieve items inside the dark store quickly to ensure the order is passed to the packing station within 2–3 minutes of being placed.
• Quality Assurance: Check expiration dates on fresh produce/dairy and ensure items are not damaged. [1, 2, 3]

2. Order Packaging (The "Packer" Role)

• Safe Packing: Group items logically (e.g., separating household cleaning chemicals from fresh groceries) into official Flipkart Minutes delivery bags. [1]
• Sealing & Labeling: Securely seal the packages to prevent leaks or spills during fast transit and attach the correct delivery routing barcode or receipt label. [1, 2]

3. Inventory & Store Upkeep

• Stock Management: Unload inbound supplier shipments and arrange products neatly on shelves according to specified floor layouts.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Skills

• Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Pass or 12th Pass (some locations accept basic literacy).
• Age Limit: Generally between 18 to 30 years old.
• Experience: Freshers are highly welcome; prior experience in retail or e-commerce warehousing is a plus.
• Language: Ability to read basic English to correctly identify product names and system prompts on the scanner app.
• Physical Fitness: Able to stand, walk around the store, bend, and lift light grocery items for the duration of a 9-hour shift.
