Job Description (JD)Position: Mechanical Production Engineer
Department: Production
Industry: Machine Manufacturing
Job SummaryResponsible for planning, coordinating, and executing machine manufacturing activities while ensuring quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Key ResponsibilitiesRead and understand mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM.
- Plan and supervise heavy fabrication, machining, and machine assembly activities.
- Coordinate with Design, PPC, Store, Purchase, and Quality departments.
- Ensure production is completed as per drawings, quality standards, and production schedule.
- Monitor fabrication quality, machine fitment, and assembly processes.
- Maintain production records and daily progress reports.
- Implement safety, 5S, and continuous process improvement.
- RequirementsDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–8 years of experience in Machine Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication, machining, welding, and machine assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOM.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
