Job Title: Gujarati Copy Editor

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Gujarati Copy Editor to review, edit, and proofread Gujarati news articles, web content, and other editorial materials. The ideal candidate should have excellent command over Gujarati grammar, spelling, punctuation, and writing style, ensuring error-free and engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread Gujarati news articles and content for accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and language consistency.
• Verify facts, names, dates, and other editorial details before publication.
• Rewrite headlines, captions, and content when required.
• Coordinate with reporters, writers, and the editorial team to maintain content quality.
• Ensure content follows editorial guidelines and publication standards.
• Meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Gujarati.
• Strong knowledge of Gujarati grammar and editorial standards.
• Experience in copy editing, proofreading, or news editing preferred.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Basic computer and typing skills in Gujarati.
• Prior experience in digital media, newspapers, or news portals will be an advantage.
