Job DescriptionWe are seeking experienced Shift Engineers – Machine Maintenance to support production operations in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. The role involves ensuring maximum equipment uptime through effective breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities across production machinery and automation systems.

The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, automation, and machine maintenance systems, with hands-on experience in PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and robotic equipment.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform breakdown maintenance and restore equipment with minimum production downtime.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities as per maintenance schedules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, EMS conveyors, Motrain systems, hydraulic presses, electric hoists, robotic systems, and related machinery.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens), VFDs, electro-pneumatic systems, sensors, relays, motors, and control panels.
• Conduct machine inspections and monitor equipment health to improve reliability.
• Coordinate with production teams during maintenance activities and machine stoppages.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and shift handover reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reduce breakdown frequency.

Eligibility CriteriaQualification:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• BE/B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machine maintenance within automotive or manufacturing industries.

Preferred:

• Hands-on experience in PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and robotic equipment.
