Travel Sales Agent – GDS Flight Booking Specialist (US Shift)

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Travel Sales Agent to join our team for the US shift. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airline reservations, flight ticketing, fare quotations, and customer service using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or Travelport. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong sales ability, and a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Flight Reservations & Ticketing
• Handle inbound and outbound travel sales inquiries from US-based customers.
• Book domestic and international flights using GDS systems.
• Issue, reissue, exchange, and cancel airline tickets accurately.
• Provide customers with the best available flight options, fares, and travel solutions.
• Manage PNR creation, modifications, and ticketing processes.
• Travel SalesConvert inquiries into confirmed bookings and achieve sales targets.
• Upsell travel-related products and services when applicable.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through exceptional service.
• Follow up on leads and maximize booking opportunities.
• Customer SupportAssist customers with itinerary changes, schedule modifications, and travel-related queries.
• Resolve booking issues efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with airline policies and fare rules.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in travel sales, airline reservations, or ticketing.
• Hands-on experience with Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or Travelport GDS.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international flight booking procedures.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Proven ability to achieve sales and conversion targets.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working night shifts aligned with US business hours.
