Job Description
A Seva Sarthi is a frontline customer service and relationship executive, commonly hired for PSU banks like the State Bank of India (SBI). Their primary role is to assist walk-in customers, promote digital banking adoption, and facilitate cross-selling of financial products.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Guide walk-in visitors, direct them to the appropriate counters, and assist with filling out forms.
- Digital Promotion: Educate and help customers navigate digital banking channels such as ATMs, UPI, and mobile apps
- Priority Service: Ensure VIP, HNI, and senior citizens receive prioritized, specialized attention.
- Sales & Cross-selling: Inform customers about bank offerings like loans and credit cards, and generate leads for the sales team.
- Feedback Collection: Assist customers in providing feedback regarding branch services.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Typically a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate).
- Experience: Both freshers and experienced candidates can apply; prior experience in banking, financial services (BFSI), or customer service is preferred.

- Age Limit: Usually between 21 and 33 years.
Job Details & Compensation
- Work Mode: Full-time, On-site (usually at specific bank branches).
- Working Hours: Standard day shifts (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 6 days a week).
- Salary Range: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month depending on location, experience, and interview performance.
