Job Title: Assistant Store Keeper
Job Summary:
The Assistant Store Keeper supports the daily operations of the store by receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing materials efficiently. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock handling, and assisting in stock audits while keeping the store clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Issue materials as per approved requests.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for smooth material flow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (graduate preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and MS Excel.
- Good organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical inventory.
