Tuesday to Saturday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Academic Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective learners and parents. You will be responsible for understanding learner requirements, providing suitable course guidance, managing leads, coordinating trial classes and centre visits, and converting enquiries into enrolments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES OUTREACH & LEAD CONVERSION

• Conduct outreach calls to leads generated through Meta, Google, Justdial, and organic sources using CRM tools.

• Understand learner and parent requirements through meaningful and relationship-driven conversations.

• Recommend suitable music programs based on the learner's interests, goals, and requirements.

• Drive centre visit bookings and schedule trial classes based on teacher availability.

• Conduct regular follow-ups to convert enquiries and bookings into centre visits and enrolments.

• Work towards achieving monthly sales, enrolment, and conversion targets.

• Handle customer objections and provide appropriate solutions to support conversions.

BATCH COORDINATION & LEARNER ONBOARDING

• Assist walk-in learners and parents in selecting suitable batches based on course preferences and availability.

• Coordinate with teachers regarding schedules and batch availability.

• Manage trial class scheduling and coordination.

• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new learners.

• Coordinate with the Centre Head and faculty for smooth learner onboarding.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective learners and parents.

• Respond to customer queries professionally and promptly.

• Maintain regular communication and follow-ups with leads.

• Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the counselling and enrolment process.

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

• CRM Management: Managing leads, tracking interactions, updating lead status, and maintaining follow-ups.

• Google Workspace: Working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Calendar.

• Basic reporting and data management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• 1–3 years of experience in sales, inside sales, sales operations, admissions counselling, customer success, or other customer-facing roles.

• Experience in education, EdTech, hospitality, training, or service industries is highly preferred.
