Job Description
Patient Flow & Scheduling:
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-ups.
- Manage doctor timetables and daily queues.
- Guide patients through registration, consultation, and testing areas. [1, 2]
Administrative & Billing Support:
- Handle patient registration and maintain medical records.
- Oversee OP billing, cash/credit processing, and insurance checks.
- Prepare daily logs, MIS reports, and department statistics. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Interdepartmental Communication:
- Coordinate with labs, radiology, pharmacy, and billing teams.
- Help transition patients smoothly from outpatient care to pharmacy or admission. [1, 2, 3]
Customer Service:
- Greet patients with care and address any inquiries or complaints.
- Resolve service delays quickly to maintain high satisfaction. [1, 3]
