Job Description
Summary
We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at the Bangalore branch. The ideal
candidate will bring hands-on technical/production background and be able to translate that shop-floor experience
into strong customer-facing technical sales.
Required Experience & Skill Set
• Hands-on experience in Production, Design, Fixture, Milling, or Turning (any of these).
• Additional working knowledge of CNC cutting tools will be considered a strong added advantage.
• Basic CNC/machine programming knowledge (e.g., G-code / part programming) is a plus.
• Ability to understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing interactions.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office / quotations).
Roles & Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable product/machining solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinate with the production/design team to align offerings with customer needs, including any CNC
programming or tooling requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/specifications to advise customers accurately.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to customers.
• Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting basic application/programming
queries.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall branch growth.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, and sales activity (CRM/reports).
• Keep track of market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.
