Senior Shopify Developer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Shopify Generalist role based in Noida. In this position, you will own and manage end-to-end Shopify store operations, including theme configuration, customization, and optimization to support best-in-class commerce experiences. You will collaborate with designers, marketers, data specialists, and engineers to implement new features, landing pages, and campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and high performance across devices. You will oversee product catalog management, merchandising, navigation, and content updates, while maintaining integrations with apps, payment gateways, logistics, and third-party tools. You will monitor store performance and analytics, troubleshoot issues, manage QA and UAT cycles, and recommend continuous improvements for conversion rate, site speed, and user experience. You will also help document processes, mentor junior team members, and contribute to digital commerce acceleration initiatives for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Strong Shopify and Shopify Plus experience, including theme setup, customization, Liquid templating, and app ecosystem management.
• Hands-on skills in front-end development for Shopify (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in e-commerce operations, including product catalog management, merchandising, promotions, checkout flows, and payment/shipping configuration.
• Knowledge of digital commerce analytics and optimization, including Google Analytics, basic A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and performance monitoring.
• Understanding of integrations with third-party tools such as CRM, marketing automation, email and SMS platforms, reviews, loyalty, and personalization apps.
• Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into technical configurations and store features in a structured, reliable way.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills to work closely with design, marketing, data, and technology teams.
