CNC/VMC Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC/VMC Operator with experience in operating and monitoring CNC and VMC machines. The candidate will be responsible for machining components as per specifications while ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and VMC machines to manufacture components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and process sheets.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality output.
• Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and production targets.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain production records and machine operation logs.

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma / Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a CNC/VMC Operator.
• Freshers with relevant technical training may also apply.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of CNC and VMC machine operations.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection procedures.
• Basic understanding of machining processes and cutting tools.
• Knowledge of machine offsets and tool setting.
