Production Technician - Wire Harnessing & Cable Assembly

We are a growing manufacturer and supplier of specialized automotive diagnostic On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) cables, custom connectors, wire harnessing systems, and automotive scanners. We are looking for dedicated and skilled Production Technicians / Wire Harness Operators to join our manufacturing line.

If you are an ITI graduate or a 12th-pass candidate with a strong grip on manual assembly and electronics tools, we want you on our team! Freshers with a strong practical mindset are also welcome to apply.

📋 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & DAILY TASKS:

• Wire Cutting & Preparation: Accurately measure, cut, and strip internal wires and heavy-duty outer sleeves using manual and automated wire cutting/stripping tools according to technical specifications.
• Precision Soldering: Perform high-quality manual soldering (Through-Hole and SMT) to securely attach wires onto connector pins, custom printed circuit boards (PCBs), and multi-pin diagnostic boards.
• Cable Assembly & Termination: Assemble complex multi-wire cables, ensuring correct pin-out configurations for specialized automotive diagnostic connectors (such as OBD-II systems and commercial vehicle scanner lines).
• Wire Harness Routing: Lay out, route, and tie bundles of wires using lacing, cable ties, or sleeves to create structured, durable wiring harnesses following standardized templates or physical boards.
• Crimping & Terminal Fitting: Securely crimp terminals onto wire ends using appropriate hand tools or crimping machinery to ensure perfect electrical connectivity.
• Quality Inspections & Testing: Conduct visual checks of all solder joints, crimps, and alignments to catch defects early. Perform basic continuity and multi-meter testing to verify error-free electrical paths before final packaging.
• Workstation Discipline: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench. Care for production tools (soldering irons, crimpers, cutters) to prevent wear and damage.
