Senior Purchase Executive

Job Responsibilities·      

• Handle complete procurement of raw materials, chemicals, packaging materials, and consumables.

·      Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers and vendors.

·      Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.

·      Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely supply of materials.

·      Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production and sales teams for purchase planning.

·      Ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and on time.

·      Track market price trends for key raw materials and provide cost insights to management.

·      Handle vendor documentation, agreements, and compliance requirements.

·      Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

·      Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production delays.

·      Maintain purchase records, reports, and MIS for management review.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in purchase/procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of chemical/raw material sourcing preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple suppliers and urgent procurement needs.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and basic ERP/Tally systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
