IT Manager

Role & responsibilities

Retail IT Operations

• Ensure uninterrupted IT support for Head Office, retail stores, warehouses, and other business locations.
• Manage store IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and CCTV systems.
• Monitor and improve IT service levels across all locations.

Infrastructure & Network Management

• Administer LAN/WAN networks, VPN connectivity, firewalls, servers, cloud services, and internet connectivity.
• Ensure maximum uptime of all business-critical systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and ISPs for timely issue resolution.

ERP & Business Applications

• Support and manage ERP, POS, CRM, HRMS, Attendance, and other business applications.
• Coordinate with software vendors for enhancements, troubleshooting, and implementation of new modules.
• Drive digital initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Information Security & Compliance

• Implement IT security policies, user access controls, endpoint protection, backups, and disaster recovery practices.
• Ensure data security, system compliance, and protection against cyber threats.
• Conduct periodic IT audits and maintain compliance documentation.

Asset & Vendor Management

• Maintain IT asset inventory across all business locations.
• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), IT procurement, licensing, and vendor performance.
• Optimize IT costs while maintaining high service standards.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor the internal IT support team.
• Define SLAs and monitor ticket resolution timelines.
• Build a customer-focused IT support culture.

Business Continuity

• Ensure timely resolution of critical IT incidents affecting business operations.
• Plan IT infrastructure upgrades to support organizational growth.
• Recommend innovative technology solutions to improve productivity.

✔️ 58 years of experience in IT Infrastructure & Retail IT Operations.

✔️ Minimum 2-3 years in a leadership role managing multi-location IT operations.

✔️ Experience in Mobile Retail, Consumer Electronics, Retail Chains is highly preferred.

✔️ Strong knowledge of:

• Windows Server Administration
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls)
• Active Directory
• ERP/POS Systems
• CCTV & Biometric Solutions
• Cloud Platforms
• IT Security & Backup Solutions

✔️ Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.

✔️ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
