Bakery Assistant

🍞 Baking Assistant – Roles & Responsibilities

1. Daily Kitchen Assistance

* Assist in preparation of breads, cookies, cakes, and desserts as per daily production plan

* Measure, weigh, and prep ingredients accurately

* Support in assembling, filling, and finishing products (e.g., cream filling, garnishing, layering)

2. Baking & Production Support

* Learn and execute basic baking techniques (mixing, kneading, proofing, baking)

* Assist in oven operations under supervision

* Help in batch production and maintaining consistency in taste & quality

3. Hygiene & Kitchen Maintenance

* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment

* Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

* Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products

4. Order & Delivery Coordination

* Assist in packing orders neatly and safely

* Label products correctly (flavour, date, special instructions)

* Coordinate with team for timely dispatch and delivery readiness

5. Inventory & Prep Management

* Help in basic inventory checks (ingredients, packaging materials)

* Inform team about low stock or shortages

* Assist in prepping bases in advance (doughs, creams, fillings)

6. Learning & Skill Development

* Observe and learn advanced baking techniques

* Take initiative to improve speed, precision, and presentation

* Be open to feedback and adapt quickly
