Job Summary:The Telecaller is responsible for contacting prospective and existing customers, generating business leads, following up on inquiries and quotations, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets. The role requires excellent communication skills and regular coordination with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesMake outbound calls to prospective customers, dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, fabricators, and industrial clients to promote the company's iron and steel products.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries, provide product information, and direct customers to the appropriate sales representative when required.
• Generate and qualify sales leads through cold calling, follow-up calls, and customer referrals.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, purchase orders, pending approvals, payments, and repeat business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, call logs, lead status, and follow-up schedules using Excel or CRM software.
• Coordinate with the sales, production, dispatch, and accounts departments to provide customers with order updates, delivery schedules, and payment information.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring timely communication and professional service.
• Collect customer feedback and share market information with the sales team to support business development.
• Achieve daily calling targets, lead generation goals, and appointment-setting objectives.
• Prepare daily and weekly call reports and submit progress updates to management.
• QualificationsBachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, customer service, telesales, or inside sales. Experience in the manufacturing or iron & steel industry is preferred.
• Required SkillsExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer handling and relationship-building abilities.
• Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Sheets, and CRM software.
