Department: Sales & Marketing Executive
Location: [NO 31, NEW NO 2, OLD, Murali St, Mahalingapuram, Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600034]
Reports To: Sales & Marketing Executive
Experience: 0-2 Years (Preferred in Metal, Steel, Manufacturing, Industrial Products, or B2B Sales)
Job Summary :We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Executive to promote the company's products and services, generate new business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and support revenue growth. The candidate will be responsible for identifying potential customers, achieving sales targets, conducting market research, and executing marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Responsibilities:
- Identify and develope new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market visits.
- Generate inquiries and convert leads into sales opportunities.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Follow up with customers to secure orders and maintain long-term relationships.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts teams for timely order execution.
- Monitor customer payments and support collection activities.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Manage digital marketing activities, including social media, email campaigns, and online promotions.
- Support participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Prepare marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and product catalogs.
- Collect customer feedback and provide market intelligence to management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors.
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and sales closing abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
