Job Title: Senior Accounts Executive (5–10 Years) – Mumbai Malad West

Location: SH515, 9 Business Bay, Off. Link Road, Behind Evershine Mall, Mindspace, Malad (W), Mumbai – 400064, Maharashtra, India

Working Days/Timings: 6-day week, 10:30 am – 6:30 pm


About the Role: 

Rotortech Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is building out its corporate finance and accounts function from the ground up. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Accounts Executive who can manage day-to-day accounting operations while actively contributing to designing and implementing new accounting systems, processes, and controls as the team scales. This is an early-stage, high-ownership role suited to someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys building structure where none exists, and can work flexibly across functions during this growth phase.


Key Responsibilities: 

1.   Day-to-day accounting

·     Record purchase, sales, journal, and payment entries in Zoho Books.

·     Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

·     Maintain ledgers, petty cash, vendor and customer accounts.

2.   Taxation & statutory compliance

·     Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

·     Handle TDS/TCS calculations, payments, and return filing.

·     Coordinate with consultants and auditors for Income Tax and other statutory compliances.

3.   Reconciliations & closing

·     Perform regular reconciliations with the bank, vendors, and customers.

·     Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.

·     Assist in the finalisation of accounts, including the preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements.

4.   MIS & management reporting

·     Prepare monthly MIS reports on revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, and profitability.

·     Provide variance analysis and highlight key issues to management.

·     Maintain Excel trackers and reports for internal stakeholders.

5.   Audit support & process improvement

·     Coordinate for internal and statutory audits.

·     Suggest and implement process improvements in accounting and reporting.

·     Prepare schedules, workings, and reconciliations for auditors.

6.   Systems & Process Building

·     Actively participate in setting up new accounting workflows, approval processes, and internal controls as Rotortech builds its corporate finance team from scratch.

·     Support migration to and ongoing use of Zoho Books (and related Zoho applications) for day-to-day accounting; willingness to learn Zoho modules quickly is essential.

·     Maintain Tally entries where applicable during transition periods.

·     Suggest process improvements and documentation/filing systems for better efficiency and audit-readiness.

7.   Cross-Functional & Administrative Support

·     Coordinate with procurement, operations, HR (future), and project teams on payments, vendor onboarding, and expense approvals.

·     Maintain attendance and conveyance records for staff/contract resources as required.

·     Support general office administration tasks as needed during the team-building phase.


Candidate Requirements:

·     Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in core accounting/accounts executive roles (Accounts Payable, GST, reconciliation, petty cash, vendor management).

·     B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree in commerce/accounting.

·     Strong Working knowledge of Tally ERP; working knowledge of or strong willingness to quickly learn Zoho Books and other Zoho applications.

·     Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

·     Sound understanding of GST (including RCM), TDS, and basic statutory compliance relevant to accounts payable.

·     Strong communication skills for vendor and cross-departmental coordination.

·     Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to work independently.

·     Self-starter who can take ownership of building processes from scratch, not just following existing ones.

Compensation

·     Salary Range: ₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum (flexible for the right candidate).
