Job Description - ChangeMaker C&T

SGBS Unnati foundation, established in 2011 is a not for profit organization that believes in empowering youth to ‘Learn, Earn and Stand Tall’. Through a values-based, transformational 35 day training program, Unnati assures jobs for the youth to help them and their families be economically independent.

We strongly believe in three principles that are the guiding principles for Unnati:

· If we train someone, they must be given a job

· They must be part of the inclusive society

· They must be change agents in the society

Unnati’s vision is to train and employ 1 million youth across the country. Over the last decade, we have set up 30 Centres across 7 states and trained more than 35,000 youth. We can proudly say that we have built a strong network of partners which include Employers, NGO partners and Government departments. We are a well know, recognized and credible organization in the Livelihood domain.

Our two flagship programs – Unnati and UNXT are well defined and established. Our goal over the next few years is to scale them to the next level and reach geographies that are untouched and vulnerable. We want to leverage local talent and technology to reach every corner of the nation.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

Ø Impart High quality training in alignment with the course structure and content.

Ø Ensure class punctuality and discipline among the Youth.

Ø Be well prepared for Sessions.

Ø Identification of less competent participants and early redressal / counselling.

Ø SPOC & Coordinator for all Computer and Tally related queries.

Ø SPOC for all Infrastructure and System related issues. Ensure timely resolution of all Network Issues in coordination with the Projects Officers.

Ø Daily follow up calls of leads generated by the Community Change Agent (CCA).

Ø Alumni visits – at least 1 visit a week is mandatory, by each Change Maker working in the centre. Non-compliance / non-adherence will result in a penalty. The objective of this activity is to increase referrals / enrolments from Alumni and aid in the development of meaningful relationships with youth trained by Unnati.

Ø Ensure Active Social Media participation by all.

Ø Effectively coordinate placement with Placement Manager.

Ø Participate and facilitate in all the mobilization drives as a team member.

Qualifications:

· Graduate - B Com preferred

· Fresher or Experienced(with or without training experience); but should be interest in training

· Latest Tally certification

· Basic Computer knowledge - MS Office, Social Media users preferred

·

· Ability to communicate confidently, clearly, coherently and with respect- test of 5 mins independent speech on a topic
