Job Description

1. Employee Records & Database Management

  • Data Entry: Accurately update and maintain employee information (contact details, contracts, bank details) in the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) like Workday or Zoho.
  • Document Control: Manage both physical and digital personnel files, ensuring high confidentiality and security.
  • Asset Tracking: Track the allocation of company assets like laptops, ID cards, and access keys.

2. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Attendance Tracking: Compile and validate monthly attendance, leaves, and overtime data.
  • Payroll Processing: Provide accurate payroll inputs (bonuses, deductions, reimbursements) to the finance team or payroll vendors.
  • Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits like health insurance, Provident Fund (PF), and Employee State Insurance (ESI), and respond to employee queries regarding payslips.

3.Statutory Compliance

  • Labor Laws: Ensure organizational compliance with relevant labor laws and acts (e.g., Shops and Establishments Act).
  • Audit Support: Maintain statutory registers, organize compliance documentation, and assist during internal and external labor inspections.

4. Employee Engagement & Offboarding

  • Employee Helpdesk: Act as the first point of contact for daily staff inquiries regarding HR policies, leave balances, or company culture.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and execute internal company events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
  • Exit Formalities: Manage exit interviews, recover company property, process final settlements, and issue experience letters.
