Job Description
- Financial Accounting
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records (sales, purchases, expenses, payroll).
- Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Logistics-Specific Accounting
- Track freight, warehousing, and transportation costs.
- Monitor vendor invoices and contracts related to logistics services.
- Allocate costs to shipments and prepare profitability reports.
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Maintain proper documentation for customs and logistics-related financial transactions.
- Cash Flow & Budgeting
- Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for logistics operations.
- Monitor working capital requirements.
- Systems & Reporting
- Use ERP/accounting software for transaction recording.
- Generate MIS reports for management on financial performance.
- Support management with data-driven insights for decision-making.
- 📋 Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 2–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
