## Job Description: Team Leader – Sales

### Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven **Team Leader – Sales** to generate new business, manage sales targets, and lead a team of sales executives for our SaaS-based software solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, handling client communication, training the sales team, and ensuring consistent performance.
### Key Responsibilities
#### Sales Generation
Generate new leads through calling, referrals, digital campaigns, networking, and follow-ups.
Pitch SaaS software solutions to businesses and explain product features, benefits, and pricing.
Convert prospects into paid customers through effective sales presentations and negotiations.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
#### Team Handling
Manage, guide, and motivate a team of sales executives.
Assign leads, monitor daily follow-ups, and track team performance.
Train team members on product knowledge, sales pitch, objection handling, and closing techniques.
Conduct daily/weekly sales reviews and ensure target achievement.
#### Client Management
Understand client requirements and suggest the right software solution.
Coordinate product demos and follow up with prospects until closure.
Build strong client relationships for renewals, upselling, and referrals.
Ensure smooth handover of closed clients to the onboarding/support team.
#### Reporting & Performance Tracking
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track lead status, conversion ratio, team productivity, and revenue targets.
Use CRM/software tools to maintain accurate sales data and follow-up records.
### Required Skills
Strong experience in B2B sales, SaaS sales, software sales, or CRM sales.
Good communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle a sales team and drive performance.
Strong understanding of lead generation, follow-up process, and sales closing.
Comfortable with targets and performance-based sales environment.
Basic knowledge of CRM tools, SaaS products, and digital sales process.
### Experience Required
**2–5 years of sales experience**, preferably in SaaS, software, CRM, IT services, or B2B sales.
Minimum **1 year of team handling experience** preferred.
### Qualification
Graduate in any field. MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing will be an added advantage.
