Job Description
Source and procure materials such as plywood, laminates, veneers, MDF, hardware, lighting, furniture, fabrics, glass, stone, paints, and décor items.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and negotiate the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely processing.
Coordinate with designers, project managers, site engineers, and vendors to meet project timelines.
Track order status and ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to avoid shortages.
Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase documentation.
Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and cost reports.
Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, damaged materials, or vendor disputes.
Analyze procurement costs and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
