Job Description
Finance operations
- Pass entries and write cheques for transactions
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Monitor and forecast cash flows and financial performance
Accounting, Audit, and Taxation
- Finance Control, general accounting: Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, financial reporting, audits and compliances. Ad-hoc reporting / MIS activities.
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost accounting, Inventory accounting and Revenue recognition
- Ensure audit of all payments to ensure that the right amount is being paid and to ensure that the revenue for the payment is realised
- Internal and external audit closure with external and internal parties
- Handle queries from regulatory authorities
- Ensure tax planning and optimization
