Mana Energy is developing and operating next-generation EV charging infrastructure across India, enabling the transition to sustainable mobility. We are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor / Site Engineer to manage the execution of EV charging station projects and ensure timely, high-quality delivery on the ground.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and technically capable Site Supervisor / Site Engineer to oversee the end-to-end execution of an EV charging station project in Khammam. The role requires strong site management skills, contractor and labor coordination, local stakeholder engagement, cost consciousness, and a focus on timely project completion.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, and driving execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Management

• Supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities including civil, electrical, and structural works.

• Ensure project execution is completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

• Coordinate with EPC contractors, electricians, fabricators, civil contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.

• Monitor site progress and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

• Ensure timely completion of project milestones and overall site commissioning.

Labor & Contractor Management

• Source, mobilize, and manage local labour and contractors as required.

• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure adequate workforce availability at site.

• Coordinate work schedules and allocate resources efficiently.

• Negotiate rates and work packages with local vendors, contractors, and service providers when required.

Approvals & Local Coordination

• Liaise with Electricity Board officials, municipal authorities, local bodies, and other stakeholders for project-related approvals and clearances.

• Support utility connection processes and site inspections.

• Coordinate with local agencies to facilitate smooth project execution.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site records, work progress logs, material registers, and issue trackers.

• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports with photographs and status updates.

• Maintain documentation related to approvals, vendor activities, safety compliance, and project milestones.

• Ensure proper record-keeping for future audits and project reference.

Material & Inventory Management

• Verify material deliveries against purchase orders and specifications.

• Track inventory usage and prevent material losses or wastage.

• Coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment of materials.

Financial & Administrative Responsibility

• Track site-level expenses and maintain supporting records.

• Ensure proper utilization of project funds and adherence to approved budgets.

• Submit expense statements and supporting documents periodically.

• Exercise commercial prudence while negotiating with vendors and contractors.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to project quality standards and safety protocols.

• Conduct routine site inspections to identify and rectify deviations.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and construction standards.

• Promote safe work practices among all personnel at site.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

• 2–6 years of experience in site execution, construction supervision, infrastructure projects, electrical projects, solar projects, telecom infrastructure, or EV charging projects.

Preferred Experience

• EV charging infrastructure projects.

• Electrical utility coordination and approvals.

• Civil construction and electrical installation works.

• Vendor and contractor management.

• Experience working in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

Required Skills

• Strong project execution and site management skills.

• Ability to source and manage labor independently.

• Good understanding of civil and electrical construction activities.

• Strong negotiation and coordination abilities.

• Basic accounting and expense tracking capability.

• Documentation and reporting skills.

• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Language Requirements

• Fluency in Tamil is mandatory.

• Working proficiency in Hindi and/or English is mandatory.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel locally and be stationed at or near the project site.

• Ability to work in field-based environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
