CNC Machine Helper

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from CNC machines.
• Deburr, clean, inspect, and organize machined components.
• Assist CNC operators during machine setup and production.
• Prepare raw material for machining, including cutting and marking stock.
• Clean machine tools, work area, and maintain shop housekeeping (5S).
• Organize cutting tools, tool holders, gauges, fixtures, and consumables.
• Help with coolant maintenance, chip removal, and routine machine cleaning.
• Pack and label finished components.
• Support inventory management of raw materials and shop consumables.
• Assist in assembly, tapping, drilling, polishing, and other workshop activities as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Learn CNC machining, measuring instruments, and manufacturing processes through on-the-job training.
• Requirements10th / Intermediate / ITI (Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Machinist or equivalent preferred).
• 0–3 years of workshop or manufacturing experience.
• Freshers with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling materials and machine operations.
• Basic understanding of workshop tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Honest, disciplined, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with measuring tools such as Vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Experience working around CNC machines or conventional machine tools.
• Basic knowledge of drilling, tapping, deburring, or polishing.
• Ability to identify different materials such as aluminium, steel, brass, and plastics.
