Accountant

• Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
• Pass purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and contra entries.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and supporting records.
• Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.

• 2. Billing & Documentation
• Prepare sales invoices, tax invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Verify purchase invoices and supporting documents.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices and accounting records.
• Ensure accuracy of GST details in all transactions.
• 3. Bank & Cash Management
• Record bank transactions and maintain cash records.
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Coordinate with banks for routine account-related work.
• 4. GST & TDS Compliance
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Prepare and file TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
• Process GST and TDS payments within due dates.
• Perform GST and TDS reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant (CA) and statutory auditors.
• Assist in responding to GST and Income Tax notices.
• Maintain statutory records and compliance documents.
