Job Description
- Design, configure, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for containment isolators.
- Develop and review P&IDs, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, wiring drawings, and control philosophies.
- Commission and qualify isolator systems, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) support.
- Configure and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems used in isolators.
- Calibrate and maintain instruments including pressure transmitters, differential pressure sensors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, airflow sensors, oxygen analyzers, and particle monitoring systems.
- Monitor and optimize cascade pressure control, airflow balancing, leak testing, glove integrity testing, and decontamination cycles (e.g., Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP)).
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and root cause analysis for instrumentation-related failures.
- Coordinate with mechanical, automation, validation, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, calibration records, maintenance reports, and change control documentation.
- Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
