📌 Role Overview

The Cutting Master will be responsible for precision cutting of fabrics used in sportswear production, including t‑shirts, lowers, and tracksuits. This role requires expertise in fabric handling, pattern layout, and cutting techniques to ensure minimal wastage and maximum efficiency.

• 🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Interpret design patterns and ensure accurate fabric cutting for sportswear garments.
• Supervise fabric spreading, marking, and cutting processes.
• Operate manual and automated cutting machines with precision.
• Ensure proper alignment of stripes, checks, and prints during cutting.
• Maintain cutting records and monitor fabric utilization to reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with designers, pattern masters, and production teams for smooth workflow.
• Train and guide helpers in fabric handling and cutting techniques.
• Inspect cut panels for accuracy and quality before passing to stitching.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the cutting section.

• Strong knowledge of sportswear fabrics (polyester, lycra, blends, etc.).
• Expertise in garment cutting techniques and marker planning.
• Ability to work with both manual and computerized cutting equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.

• 📚 Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in garment manufacturing.
• Prior experience in sportswear or activewear cutting preferred.
• Knowledge of fabric consumption calculation and marker efficiency.
