Driver Manager / Driver SupervisorJob SummaryThe Driver Manager / Driver Supervisor is responsible for recruiting, managing, and supervising company drivers while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role acts as the primary point of contact between drivers, company management, and client officers to ensure seamless service delivery, timely issue resolution, and high driver performance.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDriver Recruitment & DeploymentRecruit and onboard new drivers as per company requirements.
• Conduct driver interviews and document verification.
• Ensure all drivers possess valid licenses, Aadhaar, PAN, police verification, and other required documents.
• Deploy drivers according to operational requirements.
• Arrange replacement drivers whenever required.
• Driver ManagementSupervise and monitor all company drivers.
• Maintain complete driver records and documentation.
• Track driver attendance, leaves, and availability.
• Ensure drivers report to duty on time.
• Manage driver transfers and duty changes.
• Client & Officer CoordinationAct as the primary liaison between company drivers and client officers.
• Resolve driver-related issues raised by client departments.
• Communicate client instructions and operational updates to drivers.
• Maintain professional relationships with client representatives.
• Driver Performance & DisciplineMonitor driver behavior, punctuality, grooming, and professionalism.
• Ensure drivers follow company SOPs and client guidelines.
• Counsel drivers regarding complaints or performance issues.
• Recommend disciplinary action when required.
• Vehicle & Operations SupportCoordinate with the maintenance team regarding vehicle servicing and repairs.
• Ensure drivers complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Verify cleanliness and proper condition of vehicles before deployment.
• Assist operations during emergencies and vehicle breakdowns.
• ComplianceEnsure all driver documents remain valid and updated.
• Coordinate renewal of licenses, badges, and other statutory documents.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards and government regulations.
• ReportingMaintain daily reports on:

• Driver attendance
• Driver deployment
• New driver recruitment
• Driver replacements
• Officer complaints
• Accidents and incidents
• Driver resignations
• Submit regular MIS reports to management.
• Emergency SupportBe available to handle driver emergencies.
• Arrange immediate driver replacements whenever required.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure uninterrupted services.
• Skills RequiredStrong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication in Marathi, Hindi, and basic English.
• Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues professionally.
• Good knowledge of Mumbai roads and transport operations.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp, Google Forms).
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Preferred QualificationsGraduate preferred (12th Pass may be considered with relevant experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in fleet management, transport operations, or driver supervision.
• Experience in corporate or government transport operations is an added advantage.
