Accountant/ Accounts Executive

Experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in financial accounting, taxation, payroll processing, GST compliance, ESI, PF, statutory filings, and financial reporting. Skilled in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting management with timely financial information. Proficient in accounting software such as Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities & Experience

Accounting & Finance

• Maintain books of accounts, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare MIS reports.
• Handle vendor and customer account reconciliations.

GST Compliance

• Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns).
• Reconciliation of GST input and output tax.
• GST input tax credit verification and compliance.
• Handling GST audits, notices, and departmental correspondence.
• Maintaining GST records and documentation.

ESI & PF Administration

• Monthly ESI and PF calculations and remittances.
• Preparation and filing of ESI and PF returns.
• Employee registration, UAN generation, and KYC updates.
• Handling employee claims related to PF and ESI.
• Ensuring compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.

Taxation & Compliance

• TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
• Preparation of tax-related reports and reconciliations.
• Coordination with auditors during statutory and internal audits.
• Compliance with Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations.

Desired Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST, ESI, PF, TDS, and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualification

• B.Com
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting, GST, ESI, and PF compliance.
