Job Description
Job Title: Student Support Executive
Location: Koramangala, Bengaluru
Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office in Koramangala
Working Days: 6 days a week (Mon-Sat)
Role Description:
We are looking for a responsible and student-focused Student Support Executive to manage the complete post-admission journey of students enrolled through Alt India across different universities.
The role includes student support, data management, document verification, EMI coordination, university follow-up, student retention, referrals, re-registration and admission support.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain complete and accurate data of all enrolled students.
Update the student admission tracker every day.
Compare internal student data with university portals and resolve any mismatch.
Complete L2 verification and follow up for pending student documents.
Support Academic Counsellors and students during the EMI and loan process.
Coordinate with university teams, loan teams and internal departments until each case is closed.
Conduct welcome calls and build a good relationship with enrolled students.
Understand student concerns related to LMS access, classes, examinations, fees, documents, EMI and university communication.
Resolve student concerns quickly and help maintain student dropouts below 1%.
Follow up with semester-wise and yearly students for re-registration and fee payments.
Request referrals from satisfied students and follow up with referred leads.
Collect written and video testimonials from students after taking proper consent.
Create basic student profiles covering education, work experience, career goals and course details.
Work on old or re-churned leads and support new admissions.
Maintain clear daily updates and submit reports to the reporting manager.
Required Skills:
Good spoken and written English.
Fluency in Tamil & Kannada is highly preferred.
Knowledge of Kannada will be an advantage.
Good communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong follow-up and coordination ability.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
Ability to maintain accurate student records.
Patient, organised and solution-oriented approach.
Comfortable speaking with students, university teams and finance partners.
Basic counselling and sales ability.
Eligibility:
Graduate in any discipline.
Freshers can apply.
Candidates with experience in student support, academic counselling, admissions, customer support or education operations will be preferred.
The candidate should be comfortable working from the office in Koramangala, Bengaluru.
