## About the Role
PhonePe is seeking dynamic, customer-focused, and results-oriented Business Development Executives to drive merchant acquisition and expand the adoption of PhonePe's digital payment solutions across India. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, enjoy interacting with businesses, and are motivated to achieve performance targets while building long-term merchant relationships.
## Key Responsibilities
* Identify, approach, and onboard new merchants for PhonePe's payment and business solutions.
* Conduct field visits to generate leads and acquire new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
* Present and demonstrate PhonePe products and services to prospective merchants.
* Ensure timely installation, activation, and successful onboarding of merchant accounts.
* Provide product training and basic operational support to merchants for seamless usage.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
* Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining quality standards.
* Prepare and submit daily activity reports, sales updates, and market feedback to the reporting manager.
* Monitor local market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities.
## Eligibility Criteria
* Minimum educational qualification: 12th Pass (Graduates preferred).
* Freshers as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
* Must own an Android smartphone.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
