Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager at VaniAgent.com. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a pipeline of prospects, and lead end-to-end sales cycles from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closing. Responsibilities include conducting market research, understanding customer needs, delivering product demos, and tailoring solutions that showcase the value of AI phone agents across use cases like customer support, lead handling, and HR screening. The role will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to refine go-to-market strategies, develop sales collateral, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. The Business Development Manager will also maintain ongoing relationships with key accounts, monitor performance metrics, and provide feedback that informs product enhancements and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, solution selling, and contract negotiation.
- Experience in B2B technology or SaaS environments, ideally with exposure to AI, speech technology, or contact center solutions.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to AI, NLP, voice automation, and Conversational AI in clear business terms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on consultative selling and customer advocacy.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales analytics, and digital communication platforms to manage opportunities and report on performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience selling into industries such as healthcare, HR/Recruiting, customer care, or sales outreach is a strong plus.
