Account Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support our business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping & Daily Operations: Record daily financial transactions accurately in the company's accounting software.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Manage vendor payments, process invoices, generate customer invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
• Tax Compliance: Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS, corporate tax filings).
• Month-End/Year-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
• Auditing: Maintain well-organized financial records and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Financial Analysis: Monitor budgets versus actual expenses and report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
