Job Description
Job Summary:
A Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. They are responsible for managing the front desk, handling communications, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage the reception area and maintain a professional appearance.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when required.
- Provide basic information about the organization and its services.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and office arrangements.
- Support other departments with clerical and administrative duties.
- Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred).
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administration is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
