Position Title-Inside Sales Executive
Department-Sales & Business Development
Reports To-Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Job Summary-
The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, building customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets. The role involves proactive outreach through calls, emails, and digital channels to identify customer needs, present solutions, and convert prospects into customers.
- Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, and online research.
- Contact prospective customers to introduce company products and services.
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the field sales team.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities.
- Maintain and update customer information in CRM systems.
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and activity reports.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Support contract negotiations and order processing when required.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Tele Sales, Business Development, or Customer Acquisition.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of lead generation and sales prospecting techniques.
- Familiarity with B2B sales processes and sales funnel management.
- Soft Skills

- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with relationship-building skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- CRM data accuracy and activity tracking.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in B2B sales, industrial products, manufacturing, SaaS, IT services, or technical solutions.
- Exposure to digital sales channels and online lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
