Job Description
Academic Counselor – Kochi (Training in Bangalore)Indian Institute of Foreign Languages (IIFL) is hiring an Academic Counselor for our Kochi branch.
Important: The selected candidate will undergo 6 months of training in Bangalore. After successful completion of training, the role will be shifted permanently to Kochi.
- Job Responsibilities:Counsel students for German, French, Japanese, Spanish, and English language courses
- Handle walk-in, phone, WhatsApp, and online inquiries
- Explain course levels, batches, fees, and certifications clearly
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into enrollments
- Coordinate with trainers and operations team
- Maintain inquiry and admission records using CRM and Google Sheets
- Requirements:Graduate in any discipline
- Minimum 1 year experience in student counseling, admissions, or telecalling
- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam (Hindi is an advantage)
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, calls, and basic computer tools
- Willing to relocate to Bangalore for 6 months of training
