Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-oriented Telecaller to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by making outbound calls to prospective clients, as well as maintaining high customer satisfaction by resolving incoming queries and issues from existing customers.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a persuasive personality for lead generation, and the empathy required to handle customer support effectively.
- Key Responsibilities1. Outbound Calls & Lead Generation (New Business)Make cold and warm calls to potential customers from provided leads/databases.
- Pitch our products/services effectively, highlighting key benefits and features.
- Identify customer needs, answer initial questions, and generate qualified leads.
- Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for the sales team when necessary.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call volume and target metrics.
- 2. Inbound Support & Query Resolution (Existing Customers)Receive and manage incoming calls from existing customers regarding service issues, billing, or general inquiries.
- Listen actively to customer grievances and provide accurate, efficient solutions.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal teams while keeping the customer updated.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their queries are fully resolved and they are satisfied with the outcome.
- Maintain a polite, professional, and empathetic tone at all times.
- 3. Data Management & AdministrationAccurately record and update customer information, call logs, and support tickets in the CRM database.
- Track call outcomes and segment leads for future follow-ups.
- Provide regular feedback to the supervisor regarding common customer complaints or market trends observed during calls.
- Requirements & QualificationsEducation: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Telecaller, Inside Sales Representative, or Customer Support Executive. Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in [Specify Language, e.g., English/Hindi/Spanish].
- Interpersonal: Strong active listening, empathy, and negotiation skills.
- Technical: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and cloud telephony systems (e.g., Exotel, Ameyo) is a big advantage.
- Attributes: High emotional intelligence, patience, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle rejection positively.
