South Indian Cook

• Prepare authentic South Indian dishes while maintaining consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
• Expertly cook items such as Idli, Dosa, Uttapam, Vada, Pongal, Upma, Sambar, Chutneys, Rasam, and South Indian meals/thalis.
• Ensure proper food preparation, storage, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor ingredient quality and maintain kitchen inventory.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective operations.
• Develop and standardize recipes to ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a South Indian Chef in a restaurant, café, hotel, or cloud kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to handle high-volume food production while maintaining quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Good time management and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in menu planning and recipe standardization.
• Knowledge of regional South Indian cuisines.
• Ability to train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
