Production Engineer / Production Supervisor – Job ProfileJob SummaryThe Production Engineer / Production Supervisor will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the manufacturing of stainless steel (SS) tanks, SS structures, and skid-mounted equipment. The role focuses on ensuring production targets, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and following safety procedures.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and supervise daily production activities.
• Manage the fabrication and assembly of SS tanks, SS structures, and skid systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Allocate manpower, machines, and materials effectively.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, fit-up, grinding, polishing, and assembly activities.
• Ensure production is completed as per the approved quality standards and delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with the Design, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth production.
• Maintain production reports, daily work progress, and material consumption records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and good housekeeping practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce rework.
• Train and guide production operators, welders, and fabricators.
• Resolve shop-floor issues related to production and quality.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of SS fabrication and welding processes (TIG, MIG, Arc Welding).
• Experience in manufacturing SS tanks, pressure vessels, process equipment, and skid systems.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and engineering documents.
• Knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.
