Job SummaryWe are seeking a customer-focused and energetic Restaurant Steward/Captain to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders accurately, coordinate with the kitchen, ensure timely service, and maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceWelcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus and explain daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Recommend menu items and upsell dishes, desserts, and beverages.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards.
• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints promptly.
• Ensure guests have an excellent dining experience.
• Restaurant OperationsSet up dining tables before service.
• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and properly set.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely order preparation.
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Assist in opening and closing duties.
• Cash HandlingPrepare and present guest bills.
• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Maintain billing accuracy using POS systems.
• Hygiene & SafetyMaintain cleanliness of dining areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Wear proper uniform and maintain personal grooming.
• TeamworkWork closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and fellow service team members.
• Support team members during busy hours.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
• QualificationsHigh School/Diploma or equivalent.
• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel.
• Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
