Job Description – Chemist (Quality Assurance)
Position: QA Chemist
Responsibilities:
- Review and approve raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and documentation.
- Conduct quality audits and investigations of deviations.
- Maintain QA records, batch manufacturing records, and quality reports.
- Coordinate with QC, Production, and R&D teams for quality compliance.
- Support regulatory and customer audits.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in QA/QC, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, herbal extracts, or food industries.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, documentation practices, and quality systems.
Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of HPLC, analytical testing, and quality standards is preferred.
