Job Description

Job Title: Accounts & Commercial Executive

Job Summary: We are looking for a sincere, organized, and detail-oriented Accounts & Commercial Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with statutory compliance, and the ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting and commercial activities. Candidates with additional experience in procurement, inventory management, and e-commerce operations will be given preference.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts & FinanceMaintain day-to-day accounting records.
  • Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, payment vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting records.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage petty cash and maintain proper supporting documentation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
  • Assist in budgeting, MIS reports, and financial analysis.
  • Taxation & Statutory CompliancePrepare, reconcile, and file GST returns through the GST Portal.
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
  • Visit banks and government departments such as Income Tax, GST, PF, ESIC, DGFT, and other statutory authorities whenever required.
  • Banking & Export DocumentationHandle banking transactions and documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks regarding account-related matters, guarantees, loans, and other banking requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain export documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other agencies.
  • Commercial & ProcurementObtain quotations from vendors for various materials and services.
  • Negotiate prices and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare detailed comparative statements of quotations and recommendations.
  • Update and maintain vendor price lists and procurement records.
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers and maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Quotations & Customer SupportPrepare quotations for our paper packaging and food packaging products based on customer requirements.
  • Training on our product range, costing methodology, and quotation preparation process will be provided by the company.
  • Coordinate with the sales and production teams to ensure accurate pricing and timely submission of quotations.
  • Administrative & Operational SupportMaintain systematic filing of financial, commercial, and statutory records.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.


Preferred Additional Skills (Added Advantage)Experience in any of the following will be highly preferred:

  • Inventory management.
  • Purchase and stores management.
  • Managing or updating an e-commerce website.
  • Product listing and inventory synchronization across online marketplaces.
  • Working knowledge of ERP software and/or Tally Prime.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and commercial functions.
  • Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Tally Prime) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Personal AttributesHonest, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to visit banks, government offices, vendors, and customers whenever required.
