Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
· Material Evaluation: Inspect incoming raw materials and components, approving or rejecting them based on predefined quality criteria.
· Drawing reading- Understand/reading drawing isometric or GA and plan drawing
· Dimensional Inspection: Use precision measurement tools—such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure parts meet exact blueprints and engineering tolerances or as per drawing
· Process Monitoring: Oversee the manufacturing or assembly process to guarantee that operators follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
· Defect Detection & Testing: Conduct functional and operational tests on output samples to identify flaws.
· Documentation & Traceability: Accurately log pass/fail results, test outcomes, non-conformance reports, and maintenance records.
Corrective Actions: Halt defective production lines when necessary, isolate rejected lots, and collaborate with production teams to address root causes
