About the Opportunity
We are building a fast-growing Solar EPC company focused on residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional rooftop solar projects.
We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Partner who wants to build a business rather than simply work in a salaried job. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, networking, and developing long-term customer relationships and is motivated by sharing in the company's success.
Compensation
This is a Profit Sharing / Revenue Sharing opportunity.
- No fixed salary (or a small fixed retainer, if mutually agreed)

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Generate qualified leads for Solar EPC projects.
- Develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, schools, hospitals, hotels, and institutions.
- Build relationships with builders, architects, electrical contractors, consultants, industries, RWAs, and channel partners.
- Identify government and private solar opportunities.
Sales
- Meet prospective customers.
- Understand customer energy requirements.
- Conduct initial discussions and requirement gathering.
- Coordinate with the technical team for site surveys and proposals.
- Present techno-commercial proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms.
- Convert leads into confirmed orders.
Marketing
- Plan and execute local marketing campaigns.
- Conduct customer awareness seminars and presentations.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.
- Build referral networks.
- Promote the company through digital and offline marketing initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with prospective customers.
- Follow up on quotations.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction from inquiry through project completion.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor pricing and offerings.
- Track government solar policies and subsidy programs.
- Identify emerging market opportunities.
Reporting
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline.
- Submit weekly sales and lead reports.
- Forecast monthly sales opportunities.
- Track conversions and revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, electrical products, construction, building materials, HVAC, industrial equipment, or renewable energy.
- Solar industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
