Area Sales Officer

• Key Responsibilities:Drive primary and secondary sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Develop and manage a strong distributor network.
• Appoint new distributors in identified markets and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Handle distributor operations, stock management, claims, and business growth plans.
• Expand market coverage through effective B2B and B2C sales activities.
• Increase product availability, visibility, and market share across channels.
• Manage and motivate sales representatives and field sales teams.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and key customers.
• Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.
• Monitor collection, outstanding payments, and distributor profitability.
• Prepare sales reports, market feedback, and business development plans.

• Candidate Requirements:Minimum 3–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in Edible Oil, Home Care, Personal Care, or Food Products.
• Proven experience in distributor handling and distributor appointment.
• Strong exposure to B2B and B2C sales channels.
• Good knowledge of territory management and market development.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

• Preferred Candidate Profile:Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
• Experience in managing distributor networks and driving business growth.
• Local market knowledge and willingness to travel extensively.
