We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager who can build trusted client

relationships, identify business opportunities, and convert strategic discussions into

long-term consulting engagements.

Role Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring

new clients, managing strategic accounts, and expanding existing relationships. You will

work closely with founders, CXOs, promoters, and business leaders to understand their

business challenges and recommend consulting solutions that create measurable business

impact.

This is a highly client-facing role requiring strong commercial acumen, consultative selling

skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

● Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic

outreach, and relationship building.

● Develop and manage a portfolio of key client accounts.

● Build strong relationships with founders, promoters, CXOs, and decision-makers.

● Understand client business challenges and identify opportunities for transformation

and growth.

● Present Consulting 360 and EBPA solutions tailored to client requirements.

● Prepare proposals, commercial discussions, and engagement plans.

● Coordinate with consulting, finance, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project

onboarding and execution.

● Drive account growth through cross-selling and long-term relationship management.

● Represent Octopodes Consulting during client meetings, presentations, business

reviews, and industry events.

● Maintain accurate sales pipeline and account updates.

Required Qualifications

● 6 to 7 years of experience in:

○ Key Account Management

○ Business Development

○ Enterprise Sales

○ Client Relationship Management

○ Consultative B2B Sales

● MBA, BBA, BCom, or equivalent qualification.

● Proven experience in independently managing enterprise or SME clients.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

● Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

● Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following industries is an advantage:
