Job Description: Junior Accountant


Company Overview

Sindhu Organics Private Limited is a leading manufacturer in the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) sector. With a flagship manufacturing site at Patalganga MIDC, two intermediate units at Taloja MIDC, and a head office in Kalamboli, we operate at the highest standards of GMP and FDA compliance.



The Role


We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our finance team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records across our manufacturing units and ensuring seamless coordination between our plant operations and the corporate head office.


Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update daily accounting records, ensuring accuracy in ledgers and journals.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables from clients and vendors.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Assist in preparing documentation for GST, TDS, and other statutory tax filings relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Inventory Accounting: Coordinate with the Patalganga and Taloja units to reconcile raw material and finished goods inventory.
  • Expense Management: Verify and process staff reimbursements and factory-level operational expenses.
  • Audit Support: Assist in preparing schedules and documents for internal and statutory audits.
  • Inter-Departmental Synergy: Work closely with the Unit Head and procurement teams to ensure financial alignment with production schedules.


Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime, Microsoft Excel (Advanced), and ERP systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of GST regulations, TDS, and basic Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Communication: Effective interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments and external stakeholders.
